Historic data confirms copper, gold, and zinc targets, which Mila plans to leverage to unlock economic mineralisation potential
The licence covers multiple gold and copper anomalies, including the historic Mondal Goldfields, which produced from shallow surface mining over 20,000 ounces of gold yet remains largely underexplored. Though work has been completed on the property, a systematic strategy has yet to be undertaken, despite outcropping sulphide-rich material:
The Monal Target, part of the historic Monal Goldfield, was mined through shallow surface workings, leaving the deeper extensions of the resource untested.
The Boggy Creek and Rawlings targets represent a different mineral system style, with potential for Copper, Molybdenum and Base-metal Skarn and Porphyry deposits. Though these are at an earlier stage of target definition, their proximity to the Mt Cannindah Cu-Au porphyry discovery and the Briggs Cu-Mo project strengthens their prospectively.
Across the property, historic workings indicate strong mineral potential. Mila sees a clear opportunity to advance these targets to a drill-ready stage, leveraging modern exploration techniques to unlock the project’s full value.
