Unlocking a 20km Gold System – Cracking the Code to Scalable Discovery at Yarrol
At Yarrol, historical drilling has only tested less than 2km of strike to a depth of ~60m within a much larger mineralized system. With the broader 20km Yarrol Fault largely untested, the potential scale of the deposit remains wide open for discovery.
The known gold resource is associated with low-magnetic zones east of a diorite intrusion, where higher-grade gold veins occur within broader lower-grade halos. Mila aims to define the structural controls on gold mineralization, providing a framework to systematically target mineralization along the full 20km strike of the Yarrol Fault. By understanding these controls, Mila can conduct exploration more efficiently and effectively, maximizing the potential of the entire mineralized system.
Most recent operators focused upon sedimentary cobalt potential, that also exists on the licence. Mila believes the gold mineralisation represents the clearest target for further exploration with potential for quick advancement using modern exploration methods and workflows.
The team’s strategic emphasis lies in advancing the pipeline of high value gold and copper targets, reflecting a disciplined and focused approach to maximising the portfolio’s value.
