Yarrol Project

Gold

The project area hosts the Yarrol target, a key near-term exploration focus for Mila. Exploration is centred on a ~20km Yarrol fault, where only 4km has seen sporadic drill testing, intercepting broad zones of gold mineralisation. The team has already launched targeted ground geophysics and is refining priority drill targets by integrating historic data around a known resource footprint.

Mt Steadman Project

Mila is reviving the Mt Steadman Gold Project, aiming to uncover a much larger orebody beyond the historic London and Mt Steadman gold mines. Both mines were operated as small underground workings from the 1920s to 1940s. Later the Venus target, a parallel structure to previous working, was defined by trenching and limited drilling revealing multiple sheeted quartz veins, suggesting a broader mineralised system.

The project area hosts confirmed copper, gold, and zinc targets, offering significant untapped potential. The licence covers the historic Monal Goldfields, which produced over 20,000 oz of gold from surface excavations, yet multiple gold and copper anomalies remain largely untested. Despite outcropping sulphide-rich material, limited geophysics has been conducted, and higher-grade drill intercepts remain un-investigated.
