District-scale Cu-Au porphyry potential within a highly prospective region.
Monal provides Mila with exposure to large-scale copper-gold porphyry upside within a highly prospective region, with work being conducted in the adjacent property, Mt Cannindah Cu-Au system, the team are excited to follow the system of these results. The project hosts multiple geological, geochemical and geophysical indicators consistent with Cannindah-style porphyry and breccia mineralisation across several target clusters.
Recent work has identified elevated gold, copper and silver values alongside anomalous molybdenum, tungsten and zinc. Together this geochemical signature is consistent with a porphyry-style mineralised system at depth. Current programmes are focused on advancing known Cannindah-style Cu-Au breccia and porphyry targets across two key clusters at Monal East made up of Boggy Creek and Childs, and at Monal West, with Rough Gully, Eastern Star and Basilica.
Monal forms a key part of Mila’s longer-term district-scale exploration strategy.
Detailed mapping, soil geochemistry, rock chip sampling and IP geophysics across priority Cu-Au targets.
Focused on testing the strongest targets identified.
